There is so much hype out there about hot to get a six pack. How do you get those abs to show after all? Well there are two real factors that you have to consider. These two factors are body fat and muscle tone. Since the abdominal area of your stomach is made of muscles they need tone to be seen. If you have no muscle tone in your abs then no matter how lean you get you will only have a flat stomach with no muscle tone. With that being said, you could have the greatest washboard in the universe and if you have it covered in fat it will only look like a belly. So what do you do then? Well you have to combine exercising the abs and burning fat at the same time. If you are already really lean then you can focus more on exercising the ab muscles. If you are overweight then you need to work on loosing the fat while maintaining your muscle tone. You are the only one that knows were you are when it come to these categories. You have to take a good real look at your self and start a plan of attack. I will give you another bit of advice. Your abs are like your calf's they need high volume to respond because you already use them a lot. So witch ever exercise you do choose make sure to do them more than just once or twice a week. Train them once and then as soon as you are recovered train them again. Don't forget to do your cardio if you need to loose some weight at least three days a week. Biogenesis, Steroids and Baseball
Well here we go again another scandal concerning baseball and steroids. When are people going to learn that if you compete in a W.A.D.A(world anti doping agency) regulated sport. Which baseball falls under by the way. Steroids are considered cheating. Yes I said cheating. If you are using these performance enhancing substances and it is against the rules you are cheating. We have to get rid of this ridiculous code of silence that the medical community keeps starting with these major league players. If you are giving steroids to a healthy athlete you are no better than a drug dealer. Last time it was signature pharmacy and this time it is biogenesis and who will it be next time? I guess it doesn't really matter since they are only getting suspended for cheating and not thrown out of the sport. I know that if I cut in line at Disney or some other theme park they would throw me out for cheating all those people in line. So what is going on here? I am so tired of the nobody cares attitude and he can hit the ball and all the other hype and hoopla. It does not matter. All that stuff means nothing if the person is willing to undermine the entire sport and its players. I am sure that there are a lot of murders and rapists doing time in prison that have good skills at certain sports to. So lets let them out and look the other way because they have skills. When will it stop? Enough is enough these people need to realize that they are role models whether they want to accept it or not and need to be held to a high standard. What do you think? What should happen to them?
Here is alist of players and penalties as reported By Jeff Passan From Yahoo sports.
The biggest names are Detroit shortstop Jhonny Peralta and Texas outfielder Nelson Cruz, both of whom are free agents this offseason. The incentive to take deals is great for each in spite of how it may affect their teams during the playoff hunt. The possibility of a longer suspension for not cooperating would greatly affect their market value as a free agent – especially with a potential 100-game suspension hanging over their heads. A large group of players agreeing to similar suspensions could be seen around baseball more as a necessary penalty for a mistake than selfish team abandonment.

MLB set 50 games as a baseline
for players involved with Biogenesis, sources said, and those who did
not cooperate during the investigation agreed to receive additional
penalties of double-digit games.
With the players who already have been suspended for positive tests
attributed to Biogenesis products (Bartolo Colon, Yasmani Grandal and
Melky Cabrera) likely avoiding suspension, nine known players and more
whose names have not been reported are almost certain to take plea
deals, sources said. The biggest names are Detroit shortstop Jhonny Peralta and Texas outfielder Nelson Cruz, both of whom are free agents this offseason. Other players who could take the
pleas include: San Diego shortstop Everth Cabrera, New York Yankees
catcher Francisco Cervelli, three minor leaguers (Jesus Montero, Cesar
Puello and Fernando Martinez) and two free agents (Jordan Norberto and Fautino De Los Santos).
MLB’s hardline stance on Rodriguez
has not produced similar results. His refusal to agree to a significant
suspension – at least 100 games, far longer than Braun’s or any of the
other players’ – prompted Selig to pull out the nuclear option of a
workaround to prevent him from playing.
Selig potentially resorting to
such tactics, even if they are a bluff, miffed a number of players on
the MLB Players Asssociation’s executive board, sources said. The
union’s cooperation throughout the Biogenesis
investigation has been paramount to the pursuit of suspensions, and
Selig could run the risk of starting a massive fight with the union if
Rodriguez continues to refuse to negotiate.
By circumventing the drug agreement, MLB could prevent Rodriguez from
playing immediately rather than allowing him to play as an arbitrator
hears his appeal on the Biogenesis-related suspension.
Rodriguez’s lawyer, David Cornwell, told ESPN radio on Monday that he plans on appealing any suspension.

On this week's episode of In the Pantry, host Aida Mollenkamp
explains how you can eat healthier by swapping out certain ingredients
with food substitutes that you probably already have in your kitchen.
More on Shine: 6 super foods you're not eating
Use canola oil or applesauce instead of butter.
Who doesn't love baking with real butter? But you have to use it in
moderation. So, when butter is being called for melted in baked goods,
you could instead use canola oil or applesauce, measure for measure.
Use avocado instead of butter.
When a recipe calls for butter at room temperature and the butter will
be mixed into the batter, try using avocado. "It won't have an avocado
flavor and lends a really great rich flavor to your finished product,"
said Mollenkamp.
She added that that whenever mayonnaise is being called for in a
recipe, she uses avocado in its place. However, she recommends against
using an avocado if the recipe you're baking requires mayonnaise.
Use spices instead of salt. It's always good to cut down on using salt in recipes. Opt for fresh or dried spices to add more flavor and kick to your dishes, especially if you're making a sauce. Said Mollenkamp, "That's a really great time...it can come to its full flavor or what we call blooming when it comes to cooking."
Use raw or roasted walnuts instead of croutons. You'll add more nutrition and texture to your dish. Mollenkamp recommends that you toast the walnuts on a baking sheet in an oven set at 250 degrees.
Use rolled oats instead of breadcrumbs on panko. If you want the oats to have a fine texture like breadcrumbs, put them in a food processor and pulse them a few times.
Use white whole-wheat flour instead of regular all-purpose flour. "The 'white' part is really important because it won't have that same chewy texture, real nuttiness that whole wheat flour has, said Mollenkamp.

Will eating before bed make you fat?
This is a big question for many people. It is not as simple as it seems. Just eating by itself will not make you fat. It is more what you eat later in the day that will make you fat or not. Lets take a look at the facts. You are probably planning to sleep when your evening approaches right? So if you eat say a lot of complex carbohydrates for instance your body will not use them due to the fact that you are sleeping. Sleeping does not require a lot of glycogen. So your liver converts they glycogen into fat as you sleep. A better approach at this time of day would be to eat protein with fibrous carbohydrates. A prime example would be a chicken salad or turkey salad ect. The reason I say this is because the protein will be used to repair your muscles from training and the fibrous carbohydrates will just add fiber to your diet. A very small amount of the protein could be converted to fat but it is a very small amount and much harder than converting the carbohydrates for your body. So carb up early and eat lighter later. How to burn belly fat!
I get this question all the time. How do I just burn my belly fat. Well your body does not usually burn fat from just one location. Most people just burn fat pretty evenly. The reason that they appear to be losing more fat from these areas is because they are the main areas that have the most fat storage. So lets say your body burns two percent of its body fat. Then that two percent that comes from the main fat storing areas will be a greater number due to the greater amount of fat being stored there. So the long and short of it is you should not focus on just burning fat in a given area but on burning fat all together.
There are some supplements that have had some evidence showing that they just burn belly fat. I believe these are just good fat burners and the most dramatic result was noticed in the belly. The main supplement that I am speaking is CLA. This is a genuine good fat burner. So the short answer is if you want to burn belly fat. Just start burning fat and your belly will take the biggest hit.

An Internet weight-loss sensation that involves a new, high-intensity form of yoga has led a once-obese man to drop a 100 pounds.
Arthur Boorman, 47, has managed to lose the weight using DDP, or Diamond Dallas Page, which is a pumped-up form of yoga that forgoes all of the gongs and serenity typically associated with the Hindu physical and spiritual discipline.
"It's a different kind of yoga. We make a joke: 'It ain't your momma's yoga,'" Boorman said.
DDP was invented by Diamond Dallas Page, an extreme former wrestler who thought yoga could use a new intensity. We all know yoga can build strength and flexibility, but it can also be the key to significant weight loss by creating a slow, deep resistance to each movement, getting the body working against itself. Page's program capitalizes on this.
These days it's hard to imagine that not many years ago, Boorman was a Gulf War veteran with some serious back issues. At that time he plunged into some dark days, becoming so obese that at one point, he couldn't walk without leg braces.
Boorman thought yoga could help his back pain, but no studios wanted to work with him because he couldn't stand on his own.
"I was up late, on a search engine just typing different things, and I typed in yoga and broken back, and up popped Dallas' page," he recalls.
Boorman soon got the Page's DVDs, and slowly and surprisingly he saw himself shrinking, tightening and strengthening.
After his weight loss, Boorman has now moved from DDP student to teacher. But he must warn his pupils that there is nothing soothing or meditative about his class.
"It's like the Marines, yoga for the Marines," Claire, one of Boorman's students, said.
Stacey Morris had the same shock as Boorman when she lost significant weight through DDP. At her peak two years ago, she weighed more than 300 pounds; now she has gone from size 28 to a size 8.
"I actually look better at 47 than I did at 21," she said.
Morris, who is also 47, and Boorman say that the high-intensity yoga first gave them a new feeling of energy and control.
"It's very cardio. It works the muscles and my body started to rehabilitate and heal and my posture changed," Morris said.
It also encouraged both of them to change the way they eat, including more vegetables and less processed food. Key to keeping the weight off, they say, is that they lost it gradually. It took more than a year of sustained work for each of them.
"The big part of it was getting your head right ... once my mind was in the right place, it was just a matter of getting the work done," Boorman said.
Now Boorman is getting his work done, and also helping others. For a man who literally couldn't walk, and who can now sprint, he provides plenty of inspiration.

The worlds oldest man and Anacin?
There is all this buzz about the worlds oldest man and his Anacin tablets. So is Anacin the miracle that kept this man alive so long? It was probably prescribed by his doctor to keep his blood thin for his heart. So by itself I do not think that it kept him alive all this time. He kept himself alive by eating healthy and taking care of his body. The truth is that there are several factors that contribute to being able to live long ages. They encompass everything form environment to genetics and through the diet. So it is not all about the aspirin. It is more about the lifestyle. Don't forget to follow us and subscribe. Thanks.
How many days a week should you do cardio?
Well there is a lot of talk out there as to how many days a week you should do cardio. Some people say every day and others hardly ever do it. It is all relative to your goals. I disagree with both stances I think there are two things to be considered when thinking about what to do when you do cardio. The first is your goal. What do you want to achieve? Do you want to burn fat build endurance or both. Well here is the deal if you plan on endurance than don't plan on muscle mass. You cannot support extra mass and do hours of intense cardio each day. If you do not believe me as any marathon runner. Just look at the difference between sprinters and long distance runners. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be and endurance athlete you just can have both.
If you want to be lean and retain muscle mass you have to take a more regimented approach to your fat burning. you have to target just the fat without sacrificing your muscle gains. What that means is that you will do shorter regimented style sessions of cardio instead of running miles and miles a day. For me I like to keep my muscle mass. So I take a regimented approach to my fat burning I target my fat and spare the muscle. There are ways to do this that are relatively simple. It just takes some initiative and focus. So to answer the question it depends on your goals. I do cardio three days a week only 20 - 30 minutes per session and small intense bouts in the morning before I eat breakfast. That works for me. I do occasionally do long intense bouts of endurance training but I limit this to no more than once per week at maximum. Don't forget to follow us and subscribe. Thanks.

Are Your Hormones Out of Whack?
Like I have always said. People spend more money on there toys ans silly things than on their own health and well being. I think this is crazy. What is the point in having some material thin if you cannot enjoy it? This is an interesting article about how your hormones could be out of whack by Dr. Oz. He makes a lot of good points and explains many conditions that are caused by an unbalance in testosterone or estrogen ect. Surprisingly there are a lot of natural remedies. Any way check it out. Testosterone
1. Pineal Gland
Named for its pinecone shape, the pineal gland is tucked between the two hemispheres of the brain. It's still a bit of a mystery, though we know it produces the sleep hormone, melatonin.
2. Pituitary Gland
Known as the master gland, this pea-size organ releases hormones that stimulate the other glands to, in turn, release their hormones.
3. Thyroid Gland
Think of this gland as the thermostat for your metabolism: It can increase or decrease the rate of calorie burn by releasing more or less thyroid hormone.
4. Adrenal Glands
Perched atop your kidneys, these glands secrete hormones that control your "fight or flight" response to stress (cortisol and adrenaline) and your blood pressure (aldosterone), among others.
5. Ovaries
These organs produce more than eggs; they manufacture and release the most important hormones for female development: estrogen, progesterone, and--yes--testosterone.

I think of the body's hormones as
musical instruments in an orchestra: Each plays its own part in creating
a perfect concert--until the day one is out of tune and throws off the
entire melody.
Although it was many years ago, I still remember one of the first patients I saw with a hormonal disturbance. She was a lovely woman in her early 40s who was a little heavy; despite having tried every diet under the sun, she couldn't seem to shed the extra pounds. As we talked and she mentioned a few more of her concerns--dry skin, brittle hair, a lack of energy (even shortly after her morning coffee)--I realized I needed to test her thyroid levels. Sure enough, they were too low. With proper medication, my patient's skin and energy improved, and she was no longer a prisoner to a simple chemical imbalance.
No one should have to live with an untreated hormone problem. Some require medical care, while others may be addressed with lifestyle adjustments, but almost all are treatable. Here is a guide to some of the most common signs of hormone imbalance--and what you can do to restore harmony.

Estrogen
The Clues
If you are overweight, you may have elevated estrogen levels; fat cells actually produce the hormone, so extra weight can lead to too much estrogen in the body. This can be a serious problem because excess estrogen can fuel breast and uterine cancers. During menopause, on the other hand, all women experience a natural drop in estrogen levels, along with side effects that range from hot flashes to headaches to joint pain.
What You Can Do
I know I sound like a broken record, but if you carry extra pounds, exercising and watching your diet are essential: Losing weight can improve your estrogen balance and simultaneously reduce your risk of cancer. (An overweight or obese postmenopausal woman who loses just 5 percent of her weight could potentially cut her risk of breast cancer by up to 50 percent.) I also suggest that women with too much estrogen avoid foods that are high in phytoestrogens (plant compounds that mimic the hormone), such as whole soy products.
For women going through menopause, there is some evidence that herbal supplements such as hops and black cohosh may help alleviate symptoms. But if the symptoms interfere with your daily life, talk to your doctor to see if hormone replacement therapy is right for you.

Testosterone
The Clues
In the years preceding menopause, a woman may suffer from decreased testosterone as her ovaries and adrenal glands slow the production of sex hormones. This may explain why many women experience a drop in libido during this period of their lives. Excess testosterone, however, may be the result of a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS); possible symptoms include irregular periods, male-pattern baldness, a deepening voice, and excess body hair.
What You Can Do
If you're concerned about low libido, try incorporating more zinc-rich foods--like oysters and sesame seeds--into your diet (zinc appears to be linked to an increase in testosterone levels), and ask your doctor about testosterone supplementation. To treat PCOS, your doctor might recommend taking birth control pills containing synthetic hormones that reduce the production of testosterone. It's also important to avoid refined sugars and other carbohydrates in your diet (insulin resistance is linked to a boost in testosterone production) and to eat more fiber (which counteracts blood sugar spikes and promotes the excretion of excess sugars from the body).

Melatonin
The Clues
Low levels of melatonin, the hormone responsible for maintaining the body's circadian rhythm, are associated with poor sleep and depression. Our bodies may produce less melatonin as we age, which could explain why some older adults have more trouble sleeping than children do.
What You Can Do
If you struggle to get enough shut-eye, try taking .5 milligram of a melatonin supplement one to two hours before bedtime. I'd also suggest drinking melatonin-rich tart cherry juice: In a pilot 2010 study published in the Journal of Medicinal Food, subjects who drank two cups a day experienced some relief from insomnia.
Ghrelin and Leptin

Ghrelin and Leptin
The Clues
Stomach growling? Thank ghrelin. Produced in the stomach, ghrelin cues the brain that you're hungry. After you eat, leptin swoops in to tell the brain you're full. If these two hormones fall out of sync, you may lose the ability to recognize when your body is satiated and overeat as a result.
What You Can Do
Try your best to get a full night's sleep: A Stanford University study found that habitual sleep restriction (five hours a night as opposed to eight) raised a person's ghrelin levels by nearly 15 percent, lowered leptin levels by 15.5 percent, and was directly associated with increased body weight. Other research has shown that exercise and stress reduction may help keep ghrelin levels in check.

Thyroid Hormone
The Clues
Thyroid hormone regulates how fast you burn calories. One in ten women doesn't produce enough of it--a condition known as hypothyroidism, which can lead to weight gain, depression, and fatigue. On the other end of the spectrum is hyperthyroidism, in which the thyroid gland releases too much of its hormone, causing symptoms such as anxiety, a racing heart, excessive sweating, even diarrhea.
What You Can Do
If you have hypothyroidism, a daily thyroid hormone replacement pill can help correct the imbalance. You might also want to consider eating more onion. This veggie contains kaempferol, a compound that may kick-start production of the hormone. If you have an overactive thyroid, your doctor may prescribe one of several treatments, from radioactive iodine--to slow hormone production--to surgical removal of the gland; most patients respond well once they get the proper care.
Aldosterone
Aldosterone
The Clues
Aldosterone regulates your body's sodium-to-water ratio. But a condition called renal artery stenosis--a narrowing of the blood vessels that supply the kidneys--can trigger the release of the hormone, causing a surge in blood pressure.
What you can do
A heart-friendly lifestyle that keeps your blood vessels healthy can also be a kidney-friendly lifestyle. Minimize salt intake, follow a low-fat diet, get some exercise, and don't smoke.
Cortisol

Cortisol
The Clues
When you're under pressure, your cortisol spikes to provide the body with a quick dose of energy. Chronic stress, however, can keep your cortisol elevated continuously--a dangerous state, since the hormone can suppress the immune system and has been linked to the accumulation of abdominal fat.
What You Can Do
When I'm stressed, I close my eyes and breathe deeply for two to three minutes with one hand on my chest and the other on my belly; my chest stays still while my abdomen rises and falls. As you calm down, your cortisol should drop to normal levels.

The Hormone Factory
A brief tour of your body's finely tuned endocrine system

Calf killer super burnout !!
Here is a easy to do calf workout that you can perform almost anywhere. All you have to do is find a stair or curb and you are ready to go. You start doing calf raises one side at a time and rotate. Here is the clincher you start at 100 reps or as high as you can go if you cannot reach 100. Then you drop it by 10 reps for each set you do until you have reached failure. Here is a numerical example 100,98,80,70,60,50,40 ect. until failure. What I mean by failure is true failure as in you cannot do any more. You will feel the burn! The reason that I like this workout is because you can perform it almost anywhere. And you will get a killer pump! I have included a video showing how to do a weightless calf raise. There are two legged. You would do the same thing only on one leg. Don't forget to follow us. Thanks!

What is most important Diet or training?
Well I am here to tell you there are as many thing that are important to both of those as you can imagine. You need enough good nutrients and water to keep your muscles going. If you do not "feed the machine" as they say. It will not work. It is simple physics and physiology of your body. But you have to keep a quite important thing in mind. What is that thing? Well all food contains calories and these calories are designed to be converted into energy by our bodies. If you are not active and "feeding the machine" you will become fat. Your body has developed to do this as a survival mechanism. It will convert proteins into carbs and carbs into fats and ect. So the training is just as important to keep those nutrients going to the right place. Any program at any level when it comes to the training. The key to keeping the program going is consistency. Do not quit. Do not give up and keep pushing yourself. So the long and short of it is that each one is fifty percent. If you are doing one without the other you are only half way there. Keep it up and don't forget to follow us. Thanks.

The best and worst store-bought salad dressing!
From the daily meal.
(Photos courtesy of Hidden Valley, Kraft and Newman's Own)How
healthy is your salad dressing? We take a look at the unhealthiest
salad dressings and their healthier low-calorie counterparts.
Choosing salad over a sandwich or burger always makes
for a healthier lunch, right? Thanks to hefty portion sizes, extravagant
toppings, and certain brand-name salad dressings that pack up to 200
calories and 20 grams of fat per serving, this may not always be the
case.
We tracked down nutrition information for the leading store-bought
brands of ranch, Thousand Island, Caesar, and Italian/vinaigrette salad
dressings, and ranked them each, leading up to the one that has the most
fat and calories. Additionally, most people tend to ignore their salad dressing’s reported serving size, which is usually only 2 tablespoons. If the only way you can enjoy a salad is by drenching it in a cup of dressing, then you may not be getting the healthiest lunch you can.
While you should remain wary of store-brand salad dressings with high fat and calorie contents, nutritionists remind salad lovers not to shy away from fat altogether, and warn that low-calorie or low-fat dressings may not always be a healthier option than their full-fat counterparts.
Nutritionist Keri Glassman cautions that what "light" dressings save on calories and fat, they often more than make up for in sodium and sugar. We also ranked these same varieties of dressings according to which ones had the least fat and calories. While these may appear to be healthy alternatives, the sodium level is worth paying attention to. Glassman further asserts that "light" and "fat-free" dressings are often the most common places to find high-fructose corn syrup which she deems a "diet no-no."
Furthermore, low-fat salad dressings prevent the body’s ability to absorb the carotenoid antioxidants in salad greens and tomatoes, thus greatly diminishing a major health benefit of eating salad. A Purdue University study found that certain healthy fats — like those in olive oil — were necessary to absorb the full benefits of the other vegetables in the salad.
So, what should you dress your salad with instead? Glassman recommends choosing dressings with the shortest list of recognizable ingredients, and preferably an oil-based vinaigrette.
Next time you reach for your favorite salad dressing, make sure to check the nutrition label before making a decision. Alternatively, try making your own dressing at home sing healthy fat sources like the avocado and olive oil in this Avocado and Mint Dressing.

The strength and size stigma
There has always been a strength and size stigma in the world of weight lifting. You have all of these guys who are genuinely afraid to burn fat and think if they loose any weight that they will turn into Pee Wee Herman or something. Well that is far from the truth. Fat is not productive. All fat is there to do is store energy. It does not give you any added strength advantage at all. So why are all these guys so weight conscious? Well here is the deal. If you loose weight too fast like most people do your body will also loose muscle mass. If you loose muscle mass you get weaker right. So the only solution to the problem is to loose weight slowly. If you loose it slowly you will be able to retain more of your muscle mass so you can retain most of your strength. In order to be successful at this you have to target your fat. By doing this you will breed an environment that is conducive to burning fat and building muscle. So the weight is not so important it is the body mass that is important. Muscle has always weighed more than fat. So there is more mass in muscle than there is in fat and you will look better. So why be so focused on weight? Focus on your body mass instead.

See your self there!!
All the time I am asked how do you keep on going and pursuing the things you do? I have been working out seriously for the past 18 years. Most of which I have accomplished without the aid of a training partner. The best way I can describe how I maintain my focus and keep my eyes on "the prize" as they say is visualization. If you can visualize what you want and where you will be by a certain time then you will be able to achieve it. If you rely on someone else they can turn into a crutch. I will give you a good example. You are training with your friend Joe. Joe does not want to train on Wednesday because he would rather watch TV or whatever. You are now discouraged because your "partner" is not going any more. This severely increases your chances of not going as well. So why put yourself in that situation to start with. Do not get me wrong there are some awesome partners out there. But it only takes one bad one to derail your training regiment. Keep focused and see your self were you want to be. Don't forget to follow me on Google plus or by E- Mail. Thanks.
The power of thinking positive!!
Everywhere you look today people are feeding off of negativity. When you go to work, school even home sometimes. Well don't believe in all the hype. If you don't like things the way they are wait a minute they will change. If you want to make them change faster then you need to take good positive action and stick with a plan. Trust me this will work. Yes there will be those "haters" that will tell you you will fail and this wont work and you should quit like them. Well guess what kill them with your kindness and success. Do not! allow someone else negativity to affect you. If anything I always try to help those people by inspiring them and throwing them some hope. Most of the time I get about one or two million excuses in return but I don not care I just keep on going. If you stay focused on your goals and positive you can achieve whatever it is you are setting out to accomplish. This always holds true in the gym with your training but also in life. Do not give up never surrender keep your chin up and stay positive. Do not forget to subscribe to my site via Google plus or E- mail. Thanks.

7 Best Supplements for Weight Loss
By The Editors of WOMEN'S HEALTH | Healthy Living – 16 hours ago
You can lose weight without starving yourself or drastically restricting your food choices. You can eat reasonable portions and put in reasonable workouts at the gym, and you can shed fat while you do it.
How? It all comes down to eating the right combination of foods--foods that will shift your body out of fat-storage mode and into fat-melting mode. Specific vitamins and nutrients can actually help to flip an internal switch that signals cells throughout your body to burn more calories, wasting many of those calories as heat. Without these important nutrients, the opposite happens. Your body holds onto fat. Your metabolism slows and your weight-loss efforts become an exercise in futility.
Optimize these critical fat-melting nutrients so you can finally drop those stubborn pounds and keep them off for good. In this way, you can still consume reasonable portions and put in a reasonable amount of exercise. Yes, you still have to watch your portions. Yes, exercise is still important. But fat-melting foods work in your favor so you can eat and move in a way that is reasonable, effective, and realistic for life.
Vitamin D
How It Melts Fat: Study after study shows that vitamin D helps to ensure body cells listen and respond to insulin, a hormone secreted from your pancreas. One of its jobs is to help glucose get into body cells, which burn glucose for energy. How well insulin pushes glucose into cells is called "insulin sensitivity." The more sensitive your cells are to insulin, the better. The less sensitive they are to insulin, the more likely the calories you eat will end up in your fat cells.
When levels of D are low, levels of parathyroid hormone (PTH) rise. Higher than normal levels of PTH trigger a series of reactions that eventually lead to fat cells converting sugar into fat and hoarding fat rather than releasing it to be burned, explains Michael B. Zemel, PhD, director of the Nutrition Institute at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
A lack of vitamin D may also interfere with leptin, a hormone that signals your brain to stop eating. Your body doesn't know when it's full, so you continue to eat.
Calcium
How It Melts Fat: Calcium is a mineral that works in tandem with D to help you shed fat. Calcium is stored in fat cells, and researchers think that the more calcium a fat cell has, the more fat that cell will release to be burned. Calcium also promotes weight loss by binding to fat in your GI tract, preventing some of it from getting absorbed into your bloodstream.
Protein
How It Melt Fat: In addition to keeping hunger in check, eating protein at every meal helps to keep body composition--the amount of fat relative to muscle--in better proportion. Along with calcium and D, protein helps you to preserve muscle mass as you drop pounds. A recent study out of the University of Illinois found that women who consumed protein twice daily lost 3.9 percent more weight than women who consumed less of it on a diet. They not only lost more weight, they also got stronger as they did so, with their thigh muscles alone ending up with 5.8 percent more protein at the end of the diet than before.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
How They Melt Fat: omega-3s enable weight loss by switching on enzymes that trigger fat-burning in cells. They also help to boost mood, which may help reduce emotional eating. And omega 3s might improve leptin signaling in the brain, causing the brain to turn up fat burning and turn down appetite. Fatty fish like salmon (which are also high in vitamin D) are one of the richest sources of this fat. Other foods, such as some nuts and seeds, contain a type of fat that can be converted into omega-3s after ingestion.
Monounsaturated Fatty Acids (MUFAs)
How They Melt Fat: One Danish study of 26 men and women found that a diet that included 20 percent of its calories from MUFAs, a type of fat found in olive oil, nuts, seeds, avocados, peanut butter, and chocolate, improved 24-hour calorie burning by 0.1 percent and fat burning by 0.04 percent after 6 months. Other research shows that MUFAs zero in on belly fat. Specific foods that are high in MUFAs--especially peanuts, tree nuts, and olive oil--have been shown to keep blood sugar steady and reduce appetite, too.
Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA)
How It Burns Fat: CLAs are potent fat burners that are found, along with D and calcium, in dairy products. They are fatty acids that are created when bacteria ferments the food in the first part of the stomach of cows, sheep, and other ruminant animals. The CLA that is created through fermentation then makes its way into the meat and milk of these animals.
When we consume these foods, the CLA helps blood glucose enter body cells, so CLA can be burned for energy and not stored as fat. CLA also helps to promote fat burning, especially in muscles, where the bulk of our calorie burning takes place.
Note: There's a downside to this fat melter. Most of these studies involving CLA were performed using huge amounts of CLA--amounts that you'd only be able to consume if you ate 40 pounds of beef at once. (We don't know about you, but we certainly can't eat 40 pounds of beef for dinner.) While you might not be able to consume enough of it through food alone to melt off a huge amount of fat, but you can consume enough of it to help nudge your metabolism into a fat-burning state. And when you add it to the other fat melters--especially the D, calcium, and protein--you will create the perfect environment for total-body fat burning.
Polyphenols
How They Melt Fat: Polyphenols are the antioxidants that give green tea its health-and metabolism-boosting punch. Research shows they boost resting metabolic rate by up to a whopping 17 percent, helping the body to burn more fat. One recent study done on rats found that EGCG, the polyphenol in green tea, blocked weight gain and prevented metabolic syndrome when rats were fed a high-fat diet. You can actually feel this effect after you drink the tea. Your body will literally heat up as your cells waste calories as heat. Green tea is a great winter elixir for that reason. Drink a cup whenever you feel chilled and are tempted to eat even though you are not really that hungry. The tea will warm and soothe you, reducing hunger and cravings.

"Good Fatty oils" More than meets the eye!
There are several good fatty oils for your body. These substances are referred to as fatty acids or omega fats but they are naturally in oil form so I call them fatty oils. What ever you want to call them I call them amazing. They can help almost every system in the body. They are associated with everything from helping with joints, heart disease and repairing the Myolyn sheath around nerves ect. I do realize that some of these claim are a bit of a stretch but how can one compound be associated with so many things? Well there are several reasons there are several articles that show the blood thinning and cholesterol lowering abilities of these oils. Most people take them for there heart health as a matter of fact. Whatever you take them for they seem to be an essential part of the diet that everyone should be taking advantage of.
Here is most of the hype when it comes to the supplement side of things. People will tell you that animal sources are better than plant sources and vise verse. Here is the deal just get on a supplement you like and stick to it. This is the way to keep things going in a positive direction. I am sure that your body does not care if it comes from a plant or animal. Most of this is probably hype. One thing that isn't hype is the essential fatty oils ability to burn fat. These compounds are known for there fat burning ability. This is sited on many different studies. There are other fatty oils with a stronger affinity for this fat burning ability such as CLA. This is a well known fat burning supplement. It has also been shown to have other benefits. Just like the omega fatty oils that I have been discussing up to this point. So go get some fish or flax oil your body will thank you in many ways. Don't forget to follow my site via email or Google plus.

"Fat Sniper" Training guide!!
That is right. You read it right I am going to give you a few tips on how to become a fat sniper. What do I mean by a fat sniper. Well a sniper is like a surgeon in the battlefield he can take out a very specific target at various ranges. So will give you some steps on how to do this to your fat. I can make you a "Fat sniper".
One of the biggest misnomers people get into is that they need to cardio for 30 minutes or more to burn fat. This is not true. And current research is actually showing the contrary. Actually there are some forms of cardio that will destroy your basal(resting) metabolism. Just check is your cardio making you fat. There is an in depth explanation of this there. A very easy way to think of it is to think of long distance runners and think of sprinters. They are both lean but one look very skinny. It is the long distance guy. Why is this? It is because he is employing more of a machine gun method to fat loss rather than sniping. He has no fat but no much muscle either.
So here is the deal you need to target just your fat so you don't kill your muscle gains. This is going to sound crazy but you want to do your cardio in shorter durations using greater intensity. The first thing people think is that there is no way that you can burn the same amount of fat in a shorter time. Right?Wrong. If you walk or run a mile you still burn the same amount of calories. One method just takes longer. Another part of the "fat sniper" training is not just selecting your target but choosing the right time to inflict the most damage. To accomplish this you need to strike right after you wake up. Why do you ask? Because your body only has fat for fuel at this time. Please drink plenty of water as it has no calories for your body to use.
Now that you know you can start to implement these "fat sniper" techniques and start taking that fat out. Dont' forget to spread the good news to your family and friends who need help. You can subscribe by e- mail or google plus me for more updates.

Pepsi Still Contains Too Much Carcinogen !!!!
Pepsi Still Contains Too Much Carcinogen Found In Caramel Coloring, Group Says
07/03/13 09:16 AM ET EDT
Follow:
NEW YORK — An environmental group said Wednesday that the
caramel coloring used in Pepsi still contains a worrisome level of a
carcinogen, even after the drink maker said it would change its formula.
In March, PepsiCo Inc. and Coca-Cola Co. both said they would adjust their formulas nationally after California passed a law mandating drinks containing a certain level of carcinogens come with a cancer warning label. The changes were made for drinks sold in California when the law passed.
The chemical is 4-methylimidazole, or 4-Mel, which can form during the cooking process and, as a result, may be found in trace amounts in many foods.
Watchdog group The Center for Environmental Health found via testing that while Coke products no longer test positive for the chemical, Pepsi products sold outside of California still do.
Pepsi said its caramel coloring suppliers are changing their manufacturing process to cut the amount of 4-Mel in its caramel. That process is complete in California and will be finished in February 2014 in the rest of the country. Pepsi said it will also be taken out globally, but did not indicate a timeline.
Meanwhile, the company said the FDA and other regulatory agencies around the world consider Pepsi's caramel coloring safe.
Coca-Cola said it has transitioned to using a modified caramel in U.S. markets beyond California that does not contain Mel-4, so it wouldn't have to have separate inventory of products for different locations. It also said all of its products, whether they have the modified caramel or not, are safe.
The watchdog group Center for Environmental Health said it commissioned Eurofins Analystical laboratory in Metairie, La., to test Coke and Pepsi products from California in May and from across the country in June.
The lab did not find the chemical in California products. And it found no 4-Mel in nine out of 10 Coke products outside of the state. But it found levels of 4-Mel that are 4 to 8 times higher than California safety levels in all 10 Pepsi products purchased outside California, according to the Center for Environmental Health.
Trace
amounts of 4-Mel have not been linked to cancer in humans. The American
Beverage Association said that California added the coloring to its
list of carcinogens with no studies showing that it causes cancer in
humans. It noted that the listing was based on a single study in lab
mice and rats.
The Food and Drug Administration has also said that a consumer would have to drink more than 1,000 cans of soda a day to reach the doses administered that have shown links to cancer in rodents.
Coca-Cola and PepsiCo account for almost 90 percent of the soda market, according to industry tracker Beverage Digest.

What it is: Extract from beaver perineal glands Where you'll find it: "Natural flavoring is defined by the FDA as any substance extracted, distilled or otherwise derived from 'natural' materials, such as plant or animal matter," Bradley explains. "In the case of strawberry and raspberry flavorings, some natural berry flavors may actually be enhanced by castoreum." It's also sometimes taken (intentionally) in supplement form.Ammonium Sulfate

The best muscle building evening stack you can buy!!!
There are so many products out there claiming this, that and the other. Well I am going to simplify it for all of the readers here. When it comes to a good supplement stack to take in the evening to help your body with recovery and to help you keep putting on muscle there are two things that are king. ZMA and glutamine. These two supplements will help to raise both growth hormone and testosterone levels naturally in your bodies. Glutamine is one of the strongest amino acids when it comes to stimulating growth hormone release by your body. And there is a ton of clinical research on ZMA. Some of this research was conducted on an entire football team with very good results in raising testosterone. So if you are not already taking advantage of these before bedtime I suggest that you do.
